Chants and Songs
I don’t need to go up to Mauna Kea to understand what is the essence of that place. I’m a traditional hula practitioner. I have studied hula all my life. And I chant about it and I dance about it and I feel the essence of it just thinking about it. It’s a very, very powerful place. It’s a wahi kapu, a sacred site. It’s a wahi pana, a celebrated and legendary place.
