That is a very, very strong mountain.
~Ola Cassadore Davis, Apache Survival Coalition
Apaches know what that mountain is. A lot of sacred items are hidden on the mountain which the medicine men and the tribal people know. There also are burial places, spring water, sacred plants. Those what make the mountain very sacred. It don’t have to be archeological items or it don’t have to be a church being built up there.
We will not go away. This is the road that we’re traveling on, to save what is spiritual to Apache people.
